Opportunity

Apply your CPA and accounting experience by working directly with the SVP who manages the accounting, reporting and operational related areas for investment products that include: multi and single class domestic and offshore partnerships, business trusts, private equity funds, finance companies, hedge funds, master/feeder funds, collateralized debt funds, fund of funds and synthetic CDO?s. These funds tend to be very complex due to the diversity of the product mix, deal agreements, fee arrangements (carried interest allocations, incentive fees, etc), multi-class structures and different book/tax reporting basis. Product mix includes private equity, mezzanine debt, real property, distressed securities, bank debt and other fixed income and equity investments.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate multiple relationships responsible for all aspects of investment product operations, accounting and reporting. Review quarterly and annual financial statements. Provide comments on financial reports, aid in resolving variances/issues, assist with research of accounting and industry standards for complex and unique transactions, review governing documents for transaction treatment and recalculate, validate, and develop schedules, analysis, etc. supporting fund activities, reports and transaction treatment as required.
