Job Description -- The BAS Real Estate Group in PwC?s Business Assurance Services Practice has the following areas of concentration:

? Asset Advisory Services: Provides acquisition and disposition analysis for debt and equity and securitization due diligence.
? Capital Markets: Provides high-level debt and equity placement, structured finance services, debt origination, business plan development and certain other investment consulting services.
? Business Recovery Services: Provides advisory services to troubled real estate companies or other institutions with large real estate holdings from both equity and debt perspectives.
? Commercial Mortgage Securitization Services: Provides due diligence, analytics and bond modeling services to the commercial real estate lending industry.
? Valuation Consulting: Provides valuation and appraisal services and certain consulting activities related thereto. Valuation consultants provide market studies and property cash flow modeling and expert witness testimony in connection with litigation involving real estate. Appraisal consultants provide appraisal services for pension funds, life insurance companies and major financial institutions.

The Practice is organized on a national basis. Current opportunities exist in our New York office. The New York City practice is heavily focused on Capital Markets, Asset Advisory and Commercial Mortgage Securitization assignments. These projects include buy-side and sell-side due diligence, portfolio strategy studies, development analysis, risk analyses and portfolio oversight services.

Bachelors Degree with preferred major in Real Estate, Finance or Accounting.
Preferred GPA: 3.0 or higher.

Job Requirement Essential

Real Estate Industry experience ? minimum 5-7 years relevant experience.
?Proficiency in spreadsheet analysis with emphasis on detailed real estate financial analysis and modeling involving all major property types (office, retail, industrial, multi-family residential, hotel).
?Strong knowledge of real estate operations for all major property types including financial statements, general ledgers, lease documents, rent rolls, and reimbursement calculations.
?Strong analytical, communication and quantitative skills.
?Desire to succeed in a fast-paced multitask-oriented environment.
?Flexibility/Desire to travel (20% to 40%, typically domestic).
