Qualifications:

Perform reviews of business activities to determine compliance with Area/Corporate policies and sound control practices, with primary emphasis on the retail sales channel.  Conduct such reviews through on-site visits and through data analyses.  Plan and perform testing as necessary to determine effectiveness of business processes at ensuring compliance and safeguarding assets.  Present detailed findings and improvement recommendations to management.  Prepare written summaries of findings and recommendations for middle and senior management.  Monitor management?s improvement actions.  Respond to frequent, ad hoc requests from various business units?retail sales outlets in particular?for advice regarding policies, procedures and control issues. Participate in initiatives designed to ensure adequate integration of controls into existing and proposed sales policies/procedures.  Facilitate or co-facilitate training sessions for sales employees regarding retail operations and related compliance activities.  Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal customers.  Assist in developing and revising compliance auditing procedures for sales channels.

 

Duties:

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or business-related major.  Two years audit or audit-related experience.  Retail and telecommunications experience a plus.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Ability to effectively and objectively interact with internal customers, including middle and senior management.  Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.  Strong organization, time management and work prioritization skills.  Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.  Strong business writing skills.  Proficiency using MSExcel and MSWord.  May include approximately 25% overnight travel.
