Audit Bookkeeper - Public Accounting

MFA is currently seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in the newly created role of Audit Bookkeeper and contribute to our goal of delivering outstanding service to our clients.  The emphasis of this position is to assist our Audit team with basic bookkeeping functions and special projects which include close interaction with our clients.  While this is full-time position we are open to discussing the possibility of a flexible part-time work schedule.

 

The ideal candidates will possess these minimum requirements:

 

? Associates Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience

? Basic knowledge of financial statements and extensive general ledger knowledge

? Experience using general ledger and bookkeeping software

? Strong computer skills, specifically Excel

? Extremely organized, detail oriented and task focused

? Ability to be flexible with work location and able to juggle various projects at once

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills

? A high degree of professionalism, an exceptional work ethic and the initiative to go the extra mile
