Job Description -- This opportunity is for an Experienced Associate position in PwC's Advisory practice. The position would be located in the San Jose office, California and would serve technology clients primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This role will involve working on engagements with multi-skilled teams of professionals from across our Advisory practice on tailored solutions to help clients manage their risks. These services may be driven top-down by strategic requirements or we may assist clients in a ?crisis management? capacity. Delivered services and solutions may, for example, involve: Facilitated risk assessments with client management; Analysis of compliance failures for root cause and remediation; Inventory and assessment of entity wide compliance requirements and management programs; Identification of key reporting metrics to manage risks; Development of embedded, repeatable and cost effective processes to deal with risks on a day to day basis.

The role will also provide the opportunity to interface and integrate in teams with other Advisory service lines. PwC's Advisory practice includes servicing clients in areas such as: Process and Performance Improvement; Governance, Risk and Compliance; IT specialist solutions; Internal Audit services; Transaction, Merger and Integration services; and Investigation and Dispute resolution services. It is expected that a suitable candidate will be able to develop effective internal and external networks of contacts and relationships to be able to identify opportunities and leverage the broad range of skills available across the organization to deliver tailored and desired solutions.

Bachelor's degree required. CPA (or CPA path) and/or MBA is preferred.

Job Requirement Essential

? Generally, this would include Big 4 and/or significant industry experience.
? Risk assessment and management - review, design and implementation experience
? Knowledge of the Technology Industry (hardware, software, telecom)
? An awareness and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404 compliance requirements, controls design and program evaluation is helpful
? Knowledge and experience in other compliance areas (such as HIPAA, FCPA, Telecommunications Act of 1996 or Federal Sentencing Guidelines) is helpful.
? Experience with Antifraud programs and controls design and evaluation is helpful
? Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) required. This is a client-facing consulting role.
