AUDIT MANAGER




Audit Manager for a multibank holding company that specializes in providing commercial banking and trust activities. They are an extremely progressive company with over 480 employees and a strong community vision. Their net income rose almost 20% last year and this particular opportunity in Charlottesville (Rated #1 in America) is a result of active but carefully staged expansion.

 Audit Manager will assist Director of Internal Audit in planning and timely completion of audits throughout regional company and its affiliate entities. Assist Director with examination request by external auditors, and so on.



 

Duties include:

1. Conduct audit assignments

2. Manage staff auditors while performing field audits

3. Prepare and present audit results

4. Review completed audit work papers of field staff

5. Write audit issues and recommendations to remedy any non-compliances

6. Analyze audit programs for conformity with bank policy and regulatory requirement

7. Ensure confirmations assigned are completed in timely manner

8. Resolve exceptions for final presentment

 

Successful candidate will have a bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Bus. Admin plus either MBA, CBA, CTA, CIA or CPA. He/She will have 5-7 years in an Audit function with experience coordinating and supervising field work, presenting final audits and problem solving corrections. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is a must. Working knowledge of SOX and internal bank compliance and controls is a plus.

 

Ideal candidate: CFA or Bank Auditor. Some travel is required. Excellent salary based upon experience with commissions of 30% and bonus, great benefits and other perks.
