Job Description:

As part of the audit team, the Audit Manager will be responsible for:

-Managing the team through the entire audit process.

-Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the firm?s standards and policies.

-Keeping abreast of industry developments and their effects on client?s competitive position.

-Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise.

-Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.

-Managing the client relationship.

-Managing the timely delivery of the work product.

-Performing the quality control function through review of all work papers, reports and other deliverables to ensure compliance with the firm?s policies and professional standards.

Qualifications:

We require previous financial services industry public accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have manager level experience within a public accounting firm and have expertise in all aspects of external audit and engagement management.

To be considered, candidates should have:
-Minimum of 5 years experience in public accounting.

-Thorough knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.

-Ability to travel (estimated to 15% or less).

-A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships.

-Strong knowledge of GAAP and its implementation.

-A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting.

-CPA certification.
