Audit Manager, Private Equity

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing Private Equity Audit Practice. While experience in the industry is a plus, it is not required. You have all heard of the growth in Private Equity - this is your chance to work with some of the best and brightest in the industry.

Responsibilities Include:
Manages accounting and auditing engagements and related projects, working for Private Equity Funds, including participating in the planning process for engagements.
? Maintains regular contact with assigned clients, and keeps responsible management informed about client developments.
? Handles routine client matters and technical questions, and provides audit advice that enables client to increase shareholder value.
? Reviews working papers; management letters; financial statements; planning documents; audit, review and compilation reports; and communications to clients. Helps staff improve in these areas.
? Directs planning, organizing, scheduling, and review of assigned engagements; delivers products to clients in a timely fashion and within budget.
? Stays informed about Firm capabilities other than accounting and auditing area, and promotes these activities to clients when appropriate.
? Develops and maintain contacts with other professionals and business referral sources.
? Participates in business and community service activities to help promote Firm image.
? Supervises multiple engagements and staff at various skill levels, and provides timely constructive feedback to those supervised.
? Attracts, builds, develops, and retains top talent
? Provides timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations, including promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
? Demonstrates expertise in an industry or functional area and builds a strong reputation in the marketplace
? Keeps abreast of changes in industry regulations, and develops own competency through continuing education and by obtaining additional professional certifications
? Demonstrates commitment to the Firm?s People Philosophy by modeling appropriate behaviors, and acts with respect and dignity in interactions inside and outside the Firm
? Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
? B.A. degree in accounting required,
? CPA license.
? Exceptional technical skills in audit and accounting.
? Experience in Financial Services a plus.
? 5 plus years current or recent experience in public accounting required.
? A successful record of directing and deploying staff and senior consultants on multiple simultaneous engagements
? Effective verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to travel as needed
? Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
