Who is our ideal candidate?
The ideal candidate should possess and demonstrate ongoing development of expertise related to specific business functions. The person filling this position will be responsible for providing support to the IT Senior Audit Manager (SAM) to facilitate the delivery of high quality IT audit services within the Americas Region, with a primary focus on the Latin America businesses and specifically in the following areas:

*providing strategic leadership and direction setting for the delivery of high quality audit services of IT within the Americas Region
*supporting the development and communication of the IT audit vision, mission and strategic direction.
*identifying and communicating best practices with respect to IT audit-related staffing, risk assessment, planning, quality assurance and best practices
*assisting in the delivery of all IT audit-related services

This position is based in Atlanta, GA at the ING Americas corporate headquarters.

What are the job responsibilities?
1. Stay well versed in the business, systems, and financial objectives of the business unit to provide the highest quality audit coverage and to be responsive to the consulting needs of the business. Develops relationships whereby the responsibilities of the audit process can be met.
2. Support proactive risk management through identification and communication of emerging IT risks
3. Provide hands-on support as needed to other SAMs
4. Performs critical analysis of information resulting from audit activities with the goal of providing value-added feedback to CAS management regarding IT-related risks
5. Assists the IT SAM in the development and maintenance of management information systems to facilitate analysis of and support for audit activities.
6. Supports SAM's in the evaluation of internal controls, offers insights regarding internal control improvements, and assist SAM's in the evaluation of the effectiveness of risk mitigation solutions
7. Supports IT SAM in the coordination of global IT thematic audits
8. Attends meetings of IT management as assigned
9. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilitites:
Strong analytical and research skills
Strong communication skills
Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
Professional Designations/Advanced Degrees Preferred: (e.g. CPA, CIA, MBA; CISA a plus)
5+ years experience in specific business area(s) and/or Audit
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (proficiency in Powerpoint and Access a plus)
