As part of the nonprofit and government audit industry team, the Senior Associate will be responsible for:

Preparing all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and management letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy.

Adhering to work plan schedules on each section of the engagement.

Keeping abreast of latest developments and regulations in the industry.

Anticipating and addressing client concerns, and escalating problems as they arise.

Recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients.

Ensuring professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate.

Position Requirements:

Minimum of two years recent experience in Public Accounting working in an audit role.

Recent audit exposure working with nonprofit entities and clients within the government sector.

CPA or demonstrated progress toward obtaining CPA certification.

A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or closely related field.

Ability to travel on a limited basis.
