Audit Senior Associate - TICE
Job Description -- A Senior Associate in our Technology, Information/Communications and Entertainment & Media (TICE) industry group will serve as part of a team of professionals to deliver quality service to TICE clients in the Boston office. He/she will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest/assurance process of a client's operations utilizing the latest practice methodology and technology. This includes risk assessment, planning, "review by interview", analytical procedures, methods to enhance shareholder value and focused reviews of information systems. Various accounting and audit-related services provided by the TICE Assurance function include: annual audits, quarterly reviews, consultation in accounting, auditing and SEC issues, implementation of new technical standards and assistance to internal audit departments.
The individual will serve as part of a team of professionals to deliver quality service (audit function) to PwC clients, primarily focusing on the Technology industry. He/she will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest/assurance process of a client's operations utilizing a new audit methodology and implement PwC's new audit automation tool. This includes risk assessment, planning, "review by interview", analytical procedures, methods to enhance shareholder value and focused reviews of information systems. Position is located in Boston, Massachusetts office.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years current or prior public accounting experience in Big 4 or local public firm. Candidates from industry with a desire to perform a client service role will be strongly considered. CPA candidate. Bachelors degree. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills required. Enthusiastic, motivated person.
