Auditor

Plans and performs audits and reviews of all types and levels as well as provides assistance to other auditors-in-charge; settles complex functions of Bank and evaluates exception processing. Interprets various System, Bank, and regulatory standards; reconciles complex operating unit holdings and verifies against Bank records; reviews and evaluates PC and LAN security; reviews budget documentation and verifies cost accounting principles; evaluates signs of fraud; trains staff in adequacy of evidence; communicates with auditees and department management; evaluates adequacy of evidence to substantiate audit opinion; prepares complex-level audit reports.

Assists department by reviewing and summarizing pertinent literature of this Bank, Treasury Department and Board of Governors for possible effect on audit procedures.

?

Performs function by representing the department on control-related issues on various Bank task forces, workgroups, and new systems development teams.

Performs supervisory duties by conducting staff training; evaluates performance of subordinates at completion of each audit.

Assists Board of Governors' examiners and external auditors.

?

Actively involved in the accomplishment of departmental and Bankwide quality initiatives by being a department coordinator, team leader or team member.

Bachelor's degree in a related field.? Relevant work experience for a minimum of 4+ years.? Relevant Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), certification preferred.
