Auditor -Information Systems

* Plans and performs IS audits of the company and its subsidiaries, including reporting on improvement opportunities, communicating results of IS audits to management and providing technical support and training to non-information system audit associates.

*  Assists the IS Audit Manager with planning of specific audits including performing preliminary surveys and preparing audit planning memos.

*  Plans IS audits which includes determining audit objectives, risks, scope, resources and timing.

*  Performs audits of new and existing information systems to ensure that appropriate general and application controls exits, processing is efficient and accurate and IS activities are in accordance with IS standards and corporate policies and procedures.

*  Ensures IS activities are in accordance with IS standards and corporate policies and procedures.

*  Develops written reports outlining IS risks, solutions and action taken by management.

*  Develops audit programs and documents improvement opportunities.

*  Tests internal controls and discusses results with business owners.

*  Follows up on the implementation of agreed upon improvement opportunities.

*  Maintains current knowledge of technological enhancements, as well as internal audit and distribution trends.

*  Assists business owners with internal control projects.

*  Works with IS associates to identify and assess risks and related controls.

*  Consults and advises management during system development efforts.

*  Provides IS training and technical support to non-information system auditors.

*  Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

 

Education/Experience:

q Bachelor?s degree in computer science, accounting, finance quantitative methods or a related field required.

q Three years of IS audit experience is desired.

q Certification as an Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is desired.

q Working knowledge of AS/400, JDE, EDI, LAN, Internet technology, Microsoft Access and audit retrieval software tools is preferred.

q Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.

q Excellent time management and organizational skills are required.

q Computer literacy and proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software required.

q Experience with application reviews, business information systems development, data networks, E-commerce, UNIX, Windows, Hyperion, DSS, routers, firewalls, DMZ, wireless technologies, VPN, telecommunication, active directory, Oracle and  programming are preferred.

q A valid driver?s license is required.

q Ability to travel 10-15% is required.
