South Carolina Financial Institution is seeking an experienced BSA Officer with knowledge of US regulations regarding Bank Secrecy, Anti-Money Laundering, and the Office of Foreign Asset Control.

 

Requirements: Experience with detecting, investigating, analyzing and reporting violations and suspicious behavior and transactions; The ability to lead teams and projects and work with monitoring and reporting software;Bachelor?s degree in finance or related field; Five to seven years bank experience or compliance experience with an emphasis on US regulations; Knowledge of all compliance issues that pertain to BSA, AML, and OFAC.

 

The position will Chair the BSA/AML steering committee.  The position will monitor day to day internal and external compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and regulations pertaining to the BSA. The BSA Officer must receive additional BSA/AML training annually and is responsible for designing and implementing the BSA/AML training programs

 

Highly developed communication and presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills will secure the job offer for the candidate with the above listed technical experience.
