DUTIES: 

Working with the Director, Financial Planning and Treasury, the Budget Analyst manages the process of developing and delivering the Port?s annual and quarterly budgets, including managing the budget system, developing budget documentation, and preparing budget presentation.  This position offers the ability to gain a deep knowledge of the Port?s financial drivers and operations, and to interface with and influence the Port?s business leaders.





CREDENTIALS: 

 

Minimum education required for the position's duties and responsibilities is as follows: A 4-year college degree in business administration with emphasis in finance, accounting, economics or a related area.

 

Previous job experience should include two years of management accounting, budgeting, financial analysis or equivalent experience, including a strong background in analytical skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.  Must be flexible and able to handle changing priorities within multiple situations.  Requires ability to be part of a team and demonstrate leadership abilities.  Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot table skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint are required.  Knowledge of Prophix software is desirable.
