Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Billing Clerk

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: „Ï Maintain excellent communication with client „Ï Provide reports to clients reconciling the request process with the payment process. „Ï Work closely with Finance to manage the Aging Payables account. „Ï Create and maintain insured¡¦s accounts in claims processing system. „Ï Process and adjust claims „Ï Reprice claims „Ï Answer provider calls regarding claims status. „Ï Request and reconcile funds with clients.

Qualifications :
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1. Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is necessary 2. Level of knowledge generally obtained through high school plus three years of work experience in an office environment. 3. Other general skills include data-entry, typing, word processing, spreadsheet knowledge and office procedures. 4. Knowledge of medical and billing terminology 5. Knowledge of CPT and ICD9 coding 6. Critical thinking skills and creative problem solving skills are required 7. Ability to adapt well to change. 8. Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information. 9. Good interpersonal skills. 10. Ability to relate to health care professionals here and in foreign countries as well as international patients and their families. 11. Customer service oriented.
