Billing Account Analyst

We have a temp-to-permanent Billing Account Analyst position available with a prominent San Francisco Healthcare Company. The Billing Account Analyst responsibilities Include:

Assist billing and banking Supervisor in developing, documenting, implementing appropriate policies and procedures related to monthly billing and account receivable collections.

Work with Billing & Banking Supervisor for non-standard terms contracts to determine proper billing procedures.

Creating and maintaining financial databases for accurate and timely revenue and eligibility reporting.

Reconcile customer accounts, including identifying & researching issues, and recommending plan of action. Accounts involve high dollars and you should have strong quantitative skills and be able to recognize discrepancies.

Monitor receivable management and invoice processing to ensure timeliness and accuracy of billing and account receivable process flow.

Mandatory Skills:
• AA or BA degree in Accounting/Finance
• Solid understanding of Health care billing and collections (3 to 5 years)
• Knowledge of MS Access and Excel
• Some Healthcare industry experience is needed
• Strong research skills are necessary to be able to solve complex problems related to accounts.
