Essential job functions include:

 

TO ASSIST THE CONTROLLER IN EVERYDAY SUPERVISION OF THE ACCCOUNTS RECEIVABLE BILLING DEPARTMENT:

 Record Revenue, Process Billings, Process Customer Payments, Issue Credits and Refunds.

 
Daily scheduling of duties, management and distribution of workload, continuous process improvements, and establishing best practices
Supervise daily, weekly and monthly billing cycles
Supervise application of payments from multiple payment methods
Manage revenue process. Review and reconciliation of billing/revenue between G/L and the various transaction systems to ensure complete accuracy
Record and recognize deferred revenue
Establish reporting functions for billing statistics and metrics

 

Qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelors degree preferred
Minimum 8 years related work experience
Heavy BILLING background in all transaction types, including credit card
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within Accounting, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable field
Ability to take ownership and partner with the business leaders
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload effectively, work in a team environment and manage changes in direction
Previous ACCOUNTING experience in manufacturing or distribution industries.
