POSITION OVERVIEW:
This is a high-energy position in a fast-paced environment that requires daily interaction with executives and all other levels of staff throughout Croweâ??s geography.

As a large portion of this position involves working with client service providers, good people skills and communication skills are key.
A keen aptitude for databases and data systems are critical to the success of this role, as is a strong background in financial analysis/reporting.

In addition to creating financial reporting and other special reporting, this position is required to prepare communication and/or documentation that is distributed throughout the firm.

This position is also responsible for leading and/or participating in firmwide projects and initiatives driven by the BSR group.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DAILY ACTIVITIES:
Create financial reporting (through various reporting applications), as needed, to support management activities of the firm and the business units

Initiate and prepare standard month-end reporting for the BSR group

Assist in or lead large projects within BSR and/or Financial Services

Prepare training programs, documentation and training materials related to BSR functions and other projects that BSR leads

Prepare various communications from BSR to the local office billing department personnel deployed and coordinate quarterly meetings with same

Serve as end-user support to billing department members, as well as client service staff and executives using financial systems

Cross-train with other BSR core team members to provide cross-functional support


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to achieve results through flexibility, relationship building and teamwork

Strong analytical skills related to database table logic and mining financial information

Creative report building skills and persistence to achieve reporting results required

Ability to read deeply into the impact of system or procedural changes in order to create well-rounded recommendations and solutions

Strong analytical and judgment skills, as well as organizational and time management skills

Project management skills and ability to follow prescribed project plan methodology, including regular and consistent status reporting and feedback

Ability to identify training opportunities and prepare relevant training materials and programs


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelorâ??s degree in related field or equivalent business experience

Excellent Microsoft Office skills (particularly, Excel, Access and Word)

Three to five yearsâ?? experience with advanced-level reporting using report writers such as Crystal, Impromptu, ReportNet, etc.

General ledger accounting experience or knowledge

Relational database and SQL statement experience

Experience with Elite Time and Billing not required, but a major plus
