Bookkeeper / Accountant

Our client is currently looking for a Bookkeeper / Accountant to come work at their fast growing company.

 

The person hired for the accounting person will be a fun person with a positive attitude who is willing to take on many accounting related challenges in an exciting, fast growing company.

Accounting tasks for the position includeAccounting for multiple related entitiesAccounts receivableAccounts payable Answering questions from customers and vendors regarding A/P and A/RBill paymentPreparation of financial reportsAnalysis of financial resultsAnalysis of and suggestions for improved systems and controlsReconciliation of the accountsJournal entry and General Ledger EntriesPayroll using an outside payroll processing companyAll filing forEmployee recordsFinancial recordsCorporate recordsPreparing financial reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly)Preparation of sales tax returns together with outside accounting assistanceProviding information and liaison with external accountant for preparation of annual tax returnsWork with multiple merchant accountsBalancing merchant accountsAccounting for charge backs, reserves, income, etc.Liaison with office staff who perform merchant account activitiesMaking sales entries, which are predominantly from merchant accountsBalance multiple accounts of vendors and customers (fulfillment center accounts, merchant accounts, manufacturer accounts, etc.).Specifically creating/perfecting internal systems to balance sales, to merchant account activity, to fulfillment center activity, to affiliate marketing activities (in essence, monitoring the financial activity of vendors and customers).Monitor on line systems of inventory levels and reorder pointsAccounting system: QuickBooksComputer programs: MS Office
