Bookkeeper-Part-time

The Winvale Group, a professional services firm
specializing in government contracts and the GSA Schedule, is seeking a
part-time Bookkeeper for up to 20 hour per week for its corporate
offices in Washington, DC. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for
general data entry, time keeping/ client tracking and accounts
payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll administration as well
as travel and expense reimbursements.

Other duties will include posting journal entries, making bank deposits,
performing collections, resolving account issues, preparing a/p, a/r for
management review and approval. Additional responsibilities will
include, human resources administrative issues, preparation of corporate
reports, maintaining and balancing the general ledger, historical
records, compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
and various accounting, financial and tax duties as needed.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have at least three (3) years experience in a
bookkeeping capacity, proficiency with QuickBooks and an in-depth
knowledge of Microsoft Office products: word, excel, etc. Candidates
must be detail-oriented, highly organized and comfortable working in a
fast-paced, dynamic environment.
