Bookkepper

Kurtz & Blum PLLC, a law firm in downtown Raleigh, is seeking a full-time bookkeeper with exceptional skills to handle all accounts for our main office as well as two satellite offices.  All work will be completed from the main Raleigh office.  Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

 Applicants must have previous bookkeeping/accounting experience or must have completed an accounting program at a college or technical school with grades that reflect great skill and aptitude. 

 The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

1. Considerable experience with Quickbooks;

2. A proven track record of trustworthiness and reliability;

3. Excellent organizational skills;

4. Multi-tasking abilities in a deadline-heavy, high-stress environment;

5. An Almost-Obsessive Attention to details;

6. The Ability to take initiative and work independently;

7. Strong communication skills.

 Ours is a professional environment, but behind the scenes, we are relaxed and friendly.  We are looking for someone with an easy-going style who can be all-business when necessary but also can let down his/her hair.
