Job Description: BearingPoint, Inc. is one of the world's largest business consulting, systems integration and managed services firms serving Global 2,000 companies, Federal Government agencies, including the Department of Defense, and other organizations.
We are currently searching for an individual with extensive experience in Air Force budget and financial analysis. All applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
Description:
The position is in support of the Department of Defense and includes analysis of Financial Plans submitted by DoD component activities. The position is based in BearingPoint's Springfield, VA office although the majority of this individual's time is spent on client sites, which may be in Arlington, Crystal City and/or Fairfax.
This role will allow a person to work with clients in a consultative manner, helping them solve problems based upon his/her team's creative solutions.
Requirements:
? 10+ years of strong Air Force budget experience (SAF). The ideal candidate left the AF in a high-ranking position (GS-13-15).
? Required strong emphasis in O&M (Operations and Maintenance) and MilPers (Military personnel)
? Some AF relationships from prior life and Pentagon experience
? Experience in Air Force budget execution and/or analysis; preferably, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
? A minimum of an undergraduate degree in an accounting or finance-related discipline
? Excellent communication skills
? CPA, Federal Governmental Accounting and Financial Statements, Dept of Defense experience is a plus
