Budget Analyst SFADW-19149

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the operating budget.

Other responsibilities will include:

? Evaluate existing budgeting process and develop a re-engineering plan for all departments
? Implement and manage all aspects of the annual operating budget process
? Develop plans and strategies to support organizational goals
? Produce timely and accurate budget reports on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis and as needed
? Work with various managers/directors to achieve budget targets
? Act as an advisor and liaison to management on reporting and interpreting financial information
? Produce ad hoc reports, statistical analysis, and assist with special projects as needed
? Analyze historical data, identify trends and provide forecasts to Sr. Management
? Supervise budget assistant
? All other reasonably related duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

Accounting or finance degree and 5 years experience developing and managing complex budgets
Knowledge of fundamental accounting/budgeting principles and internal control concepts
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent accuracy and attention to details
Advanced computer skills using MS Word and Excel
