We have an immediate opening for a Budget/Financial Analyst located at our customer site in Washington, DC.  The ideal candidate will performs a wide variety of detailed financial and budgetary activities (with an emphasis on budgeting, estimating, and reporting) in support of assigned program(s).  Prepare OMB300 and associated supporting documents in accordance with USCG and DHS requirements.  Must be familiar with DHS OMB300 software and requirements for scoring.

 

 

Responsibilities:



Leads the preparation of OMB300 exhibits for a number of USCG programs.  Prepares and analyzes analysis of alternatives, costs estimates and other analysis as necessary. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.  Compiles and reviews budgets to identify present and future funding requirments. Anticipates and responds to customer needs. 

 

Qualifications:

BS or higher in business, finance, accounting or similar field.  Sound knowledge of principals of accounting,  financial management, business processes and budget forecasting.  Four years or more of directly related experience in financial management and budgetary analysis, with emphasis in OMB300 exhibits is preferred.  CGFM experience highly desired.  Must be a U.S. Citizen, and able to obtain a secret clearance.
