Business Controlling Manager

CDI, the on-site recruiting group for our client, is currently searching for talented people to join their successful organization. Our client is currently looking to add a Business Controlling Manager to their team.

 

 

 

 

 **The incumbent will be working directly with the VP Marketing, VP Sales and VP Specialty Sales and respective direct staff, providing financial analysis and direction critical for driving a $750M sales budget.  The incumbent will also provide analysis and direction critical to management of sales & marketing teams of over 1,000 people and more than $150M in spending**


Responsibilities:

1.        Integral member of 3 functional management teams providing financial analysis and direction.
2.        Manage a staff of three (3) Financial & Senior Financial Specialists  
3.        Manage development and analysis of Sales and COS budgets and forecasts for all product lines.
4.        Provide analysis of sales / profitability for a $750M business, to ensure achievement of short ? mid term operating  plans and early identification of risks / opportunities; drive analysis of product line specific growth and profitability in support of DS strategy; provide recommendations for corrective actions where required.
5.        Manage interaction with other functions (primarily Commercial Services Organization and Sales Operations) to ensure available tools, reports and data are accurate and meet the needs of the business.
6.        Develop and maintain all financial models and tools required to support budgeting, forecasting and product line analysis.
7.        Provide financial analysis of marketing & incentive plans to ensure plans delivers targeted financial payback and that plans can deliver expected financial result (example ? achieving growth or profitability targets).
8.        Provide analysis on portfolio of leases, highlighting financial risks and opportunities to the business.    
9.        Provide ad-hoc analysis and recommendations for product life cycle, product positioning, promotional programs, and other opportunistic and strategic decisions.

10.6 -10 years of experience in related field.
