Business Conversion Specialist

A Large Boston Funds Service Company is in search of a Business Conversion Specialist to join their Project Management Group.  The Business Service Specialist would work to support the Business implementation and Project Management team in all steps of on-boarding clients and supporting business operations.  Work with other in an exciting business focused environment with an energetic and supportive team.  Have the ability to influence the future success of the group and yourself!

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

-Work with team to provide consolidation, integration and standardization or business

functions as well as aggregating and monitoring overall performance.

 

-Establish strong working relationships with all business partners throughout the organization as well as with its functional partners.

 

-Facilitate resolution and communication of decisions, standards, discussions and issues.

 

-Interact with finance to understand financials (budgets, forecasts, actuals, variances, productivity saves).

 

-Partner with human resources, training and operations to design, implement and drive relevant programs and issues (headcount, talent management, diversity, career development).

 

-Create presentations to executive management, as well as meetings, offsites, and other leadership events

 

Qualifications

-Proven experience in Project Management

-BA/BS degree preferred

-2+ years of experience in Fund Accounting, Fund Administration and/or Tax Services

-Expertise in various technology platforms

-Proven experience in Microsoft Project, Excel and Power Point, Visio etc.

-Strong communication skills

-Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment, with a team, expertise in time management
