BASIC FUNCTION
PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR EXECUTING USER ACCEPTANCE TEST PLANS AND TEST SCENARIOS FOR ALL SYSTEMS ENHANCEMENTS AND REPLACEMENTS

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
o Serve as advocate for Business Users in all IT development efforts, ensuring comprehensive functionality and usability standards are defined and met.
o Partner with all project resources during entire lifecycle of project, from concept to deployment
o Execute detailed testing scenarios for all aspects of solution: interface, functionality, outputs, usability, etc.
o Maintain and report test results in historical library
o Identify defects; retest fixes
o Maintain detailed and up-to-date test logs that reflect the status and metrics for all testing efforts
o Provide guidance to other team members and Users during testing
o Test and validate training and documentation materials associated with delivered solution
o Utilize automated test scripts over time
o Collaborate with Technology Development and Quality Assurance members to ensure smooth hand-offs between test cycles

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preparation, Knowledge, Previous Experience:

o 3-5 YEARS OF QUALITY ASSURANCE OR USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING EXPERIENCE
o PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A BUSINESS ANALYST ROLE IS VERY HELPFUL
o THOROUGH WORKING KNOWEDGE OF BUSINESS APPLICATIONS AND THE TECHNOLOGY THAT SUPPORTS THEM; SOME TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE IS VERY HELPFUL
Skills, Abilities, Competencies:
o MS PROJECT, EXCEL, WORD
o TEST DIRECTOR OR SIMILAR DEFECT TRACKING TOOL
o AUTOMATED TEST TOOLS- SCRIPTING (PREFERRABLE)
o SQL
Level of Education Required:
o BACHELOR'S DEGREE
