WP Valuation Services?the business valuation and litigation support division of Whitley Penn is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their rapidly growing practice in Tarrant County.  As a Business Valuation Manager, you will work on a variety of business valuation and litigation support engagements.

 

Qualified candidates must have:4+ years of business valuation experienceAccounting degree; CPA is strongly preferredExcellent research, analytical and writing skills. Currently hold a professional designation such as ABV, ASA, CBA or CFA is preferred but will consider candidates who are actively pursuing one or more of these certifications

 

Business Valuation Managers are typically involved in all aspects of a project through completion, which can include client meetings, data gathering, financial analysis and report writing.  Engagements often involve the following types of tasks:

 Developing analyses and financial models, Adjusting and forecasting financial statements,Critiquing claims of opposing experts, Drafting preliminary reports of findings, Interpreting and explaining key financial concepts counsel and clients to foster understanding of relevant issues, and Preparing managers and partners to deliver expert witness testimony.

 Core ResponsibilitiesPrepare valuation work plans, budgets, and information requests.Oversee and manage staffResearch and analyze company, industry, and economic information.Analyze and adjust historical financial data.Prepare financial forecasts.Develop appropriate discount, growth, and capitalization rates.Draft valuation reports and exhibits.
