Help Esterline Defense Group be a leader in the Defense industry by acting as the Cost Accountant who provides financial decision-making information; determines cost of operations; guides cost analysis process; recommends improvement actions; confirms costs; prepares special reports.

Qualifications


Skillfully synthesizes large quantities of complex information under pressure. Distills it to the most critical issues and draws accurate conclusions, taking into account a high degree of uncertainty.


Synthesizes all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables


Experience working with complex, large-scale relational databases, statistical programs, and other tools to compile and interpret quantitative data. Extracts accurate conclusions and identifies trends from statistical information.


Expert at predicting economic effects of planning and control decisions.



Expertise in using Excel, Lotus, Access, SQL, SAP, or other applicable accounting and financial software to record or analyze financial information.


Expert at analyzing causes of variances between actual and budgeted income and expenses, and recommending actions to perform in accordance with the budget.


Maintains painstaking attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks. Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.


Can be trusted to handle extremely confidential and sensitive information.


Keys quantitative and qualitative data with speed and accuracy into the computer. (6,000 ksph with 5% or less error rate)


Experience with data processing including data analysis, process analysis, and process modeling.


BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or related field
