CFO--CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mountain West Telecom is a communication solutions provider based in Utah.  Our solutions include Cisco, Avaya and Mitel telecommunication products, Qwest, AT&T and Sprint carrier services, structured cabling and a complete services offering including a high tech network operations center.  We design, install and provide life-cycle support for our customers.

 

Mountain West Telecom has established a strong presence in the mid-market segment of the intermountain region.  Additionally, we are poised to expand our business into additional markets in the coming year. 

 

We are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer to become a key member of our management team.  The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

 Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required MBA a plus 10 years of related financial experience, five of which were performed in a CFO or senior financial management position Process and procedure creation and management experienceRecurring revenue management and trackingStrong technical background in operational finance and the desire to work in a hands-on environment M&A experienceExcellent reasoning, interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work under deadlinesSuccessful leadership experience

 

The responsibilities will include:

 Providing leadership and managing financial activities, including budgeting, planning & reporting, cost & general accounting operations, audit, tax, and treasury functions to support business operations Participating as a member of the executive team in developing and implementing strategic plans, goals, and objectives to help ensure business growth and operations effectiveness Developing and maintaining effective communications with various financial institutions and outside service companies Managing multiple P&L statements for each business unitPresenting financial and other business information to the Board of Directors
