CHARGEBACK SUPPORT ANALYST

Job Responsibilities

Rapidly growing and expanding its Corporate headquarters location in Melville, New York we have an immediate need for an organized and energetic Chargeback Support Analyst with knowledge and experience with chargeback processing and Visa and MasterCard regulations.  Responsible for incoming calls from merchants to identify and service chargeback problems.  Use internal systems to review, interpret and note merchant data.  Explain company policies and procedures to merchants as well as educate merchants regarding chargeback processes.  Keep workflow within timeframes to ensure limited financial risk to the company. 

 

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong oral and written communication skills, a self-starter who is detail oriented and well organized, ability to work independently as well as in a team, great attitude and good follow-through skills with the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner. 

 

Education/Experience

High School education or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of chargeback experience.  Associate's degree preferred.  Previous bankcard experience and knowledge of Visa and MasterCard operation regulations.  Working knowledge of MS Office especially Word and Excel.  Risk management skills a plus.
