CL Risk Analyst

As a Credit Risk Analyst at Chase Card Services (CCS) Risk Management, located in Wilmington, DE, you will be responsible for partnering with portfolio Marketing, as it relates to programs designed to increase spending and account usage. This would refer to any campaign designed to increase the customer incentive to transact on the account, such as rewards upgrades, cash, and product offerings. This activity leads to increased interchange revenue and customer loyalty, and the Risk role is to ensure the proper balance with incremental losses.

 

Responsibilities in this role will specifically concentrate on:

Develop credit qualified universe selection for Marketing programs including activation, rewards, retention, upgrades, cash, and graduation. Analyzing new tools and decision elements to further optimize selection criteria.

Working closely with Marketing to ensure that Risk is aware of, participates in, and agrees with the methodology used for predicting incremental losses coming from the portfolio marketing campaigns.

Analyzing performance of current campaigns, and develop/test/implement new portfolio specific campaigns.

Present results to Senior Management in Risk, Marketing, and Finance on a regular basis.



Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline required, Masters degree preferred.

1+ years experience in analytic interpretation of key business measures, preferably in Bankcard Industry.

A solid understanding of SAS and its use as an analytic tool is strongly preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

Knowledge of time series analysis and various forecasting methods a plus.

Project Management experience a plus.

Logical reasoning and problem solving capabilities are essential - Strong analytic skills a must!
