We are currently seeking a Collections Team Lead for our Collections department at our Royersford location.  This Team Leader position will maintain responsibility for a collection portfolio as well as monitoring 2-4 direct reports in a specified geographical area.  The intent of the position is to expose staff to supervisory responsibilities while they maintain district collection responsibility.  The position is challenging?it requires multitasking abilities, solid technical skills, and excellent interpersonal ability.  The role of this position is to ensure business and professional uniformity among the individual groups.  The Team Leaders must display professional conduct towards both internal and external customers at all times.  

 

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

? Maintain a portfolio of geographically related accounts to collect on while maintaining full compliance with departmental policies and procedures.  Complete account reconciliation?s, perform cash research, and file/maintain orderly records.

? Team Lead will complete and submit an aging review each month to the Supervisor.

? Will recommend and review problematic accounts from their direct reports for possible placement with external collection agency.

? Monitor, update and send monthly district issues spreadsheet for their assigned geographical area

? Assist, train, and troubleshoot for their direct reports in all areas of departmental collection procedures.

? Primary contact for their direct reports when questions about Oracle/Accounts/Procedures and Processes arise.

? Participate in and attend monthly meetings with the VP/Controller and Director

? Conduct/Setup district conference calls?participate when required

? Review, approve and ensure compliance for account reconciliation?s up to $1000?submit to Director and/or Lead for approval if needed.

? Review summary statistics for their direct reports?review findings with Lead Supervisor. Communicate with direct reports on issues/findings?Lead will assist.

? Will assist in the final stages of the interview/selection processes Ensure candidate will mesh/fit in with group.  Lead and/or Director will handle resume and candidate review.

? Assist with the completion of performance reviews for direct reports?Lead and Director will complete ?standard? reviews for levels of performance.

? May be called upon to assist with HR issues for their direct reports.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor?s Degree in business or related field or Job related experience.

- Prior Business to Business Collection experience?prior Supervisory experience is required

-  High ethical standards.

- Excellent communications (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

-  PC fluent in Windows based software applications?Excel and Word. 

- Oracle experience is required. 

- Extremely well organized

- Ability to work independently and within a group setting

-  Ability to negotiate
