CORPORATE CONTROLLER

 

Life Therapeutics is setting the standard in specialty therapeutic and diagnostic products for the life science market. With 478 employees in the United States, we are looking for a LOCAL candidate for the position of Corporate Controller based at our head office in Clarkston, GA.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for managing the accounting and finance function in accordance with corporate policies, generally accepted accounting principles and SEC reporting requirements.

 

The successful candidate will have:

1.  CPA qualifications with a minimum of ten (10) years solid finance and accounting experience including consolidations, management reporting, and foreign currency (FAS 52).

2.  Previous experience should demonstrate advanced knowledge of technical accounting concepts, practices and procedures, with exposure to strategic management, cultural change and organizational development.

3.  Previous experience working in the Biotechnology, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Medical Device & Diagnostic industry is required.

4.  Exposure to SEC reporting, SOX implementation, and post acquisition integration is preferred.

5.  Must have strong business acumen with the ability to coach employees and management across a broad range of issues.

6.  Requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership ability, customer service focus, self-motivation, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.7.  Effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.  Life Therapeutics utilizes Great Plains accounting software.
