About Position:

 

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for overall Job Cost Accounting. This person must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.  This must be proactive and have the ability to be detailed and accurate. 

They must be Operationally oriented, able to identify, introduce and establish process improvement, workflows and effective procedures, when necessary.  This person must be flexible and able to deal with change.

 

The ideal candidate will show leadership and supervisory skills.  They will be able to work independently and in a team environment.  They must know and comprehend the tools and skills to understand data and systems related to job costing.  They must be problem solving oriented and able to communicate effectively both written and orally. 

 

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

4 plus years of Job Cost Accounting experience related to the construction industry

P&L and Budgetary knowledge

Strong PC related skills including; Microsoft Access, Excel calculations and Client Based Cost Accounting Systems, such as, ComputerEase

$60,000 to $65,000
