CPA and CPA Candidate

Rapidly growing CPA firm seeking CPA with five years experience mainly in the tax area, and a CPA candidate.  Both CPA and CPA candidate must have experience in all areas of taxation, including individual, partnership, corporate and estate.  CPA candidate must have some business experience after graduation.  Please have at least five business references and five personal references.  Competitive salary, in addition to performance bonus program already in place.  Benefits include full medical, dental, and life insurance package, including a SIMPLE IRA plan. 

 

All candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 150 semester hours of education preferred and a CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA exam.  Should have an ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, results-orientated team environment.  Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with tax preparation and General Ledger software are necessary.  Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Must be able to work additional hours as needed with limited travel to client sites.

CPA needs to have two to five years of progressive public accounting experience with in-charge experience desirable. Must be able to demonstrate ability to supervise staff and lead projects. Previous direct client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships are required.  Must have leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills, and excellent written and oral presentation skills.
