Position Overview:

The Cash Accounting Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the NHIC New England, Cash Accounting Team.  Manage the compilation and preparation of Medicare Cash Accounting functions. Ensures client requirements and priorities are defined and met. Assign, direct, and supervise the work of staff.  Communicate priorities, schedule tasks, and monitor tasks/project status.  Assist personnel in planning, organizing, and controlling activities. Responsible for conducting performance reviews, addressing performance issues, and development of personnel.

 

Requisite Skills:

?  Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university; minimum of five years experience in leadership; or equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.

?  Previous leadership experience in a cash accounting or clerical accounting environment

?  Medicare and/or previous health care experience preferred

?  Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, clients and internal leadership

?  Previous experience documenting employee performance and monitoring productivity

?  Solid work experience with Microsoft office applications with the ability to prepare presentations and reports with these applications

?  Strong analytical skills

?  Ability to meet client workload requirements

?  Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions

?  Ability to respond to and resolve customer problems/needs

?  Ability to work in a fast -paced environment

?  Excellent project management and planning skills
