Centralized Accountant (District Controller/Financial Analyst) - Houston, TX

In this position as a Centralized Accountant (District Controller) for this district you will:
establish and implement working capital control programs, enforcing policies designed to maximize internal control of inventories, cash and equipment.
be responsible for preparation of financial and operating reports
conduct and document moderate financial analysis projects 
analyze all financial information for district
support the district in a centralized accounting function
report directly to the District Manager and have 2 direct reports



 

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance or Accounting and 5+ years of experience in AP/AR, payroll, guest ledger/city ledger and P&L. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential. The ability to work closely with a team in budgeting, cost controls and monthly reporting is critical. Retail, food service, hotel, hospitality, or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
