Challenging opportunity for a controller with a construction or manufacturing background

Challenging career position for a Controller in a large and stable construction company, based in the Washington metro area. The controller will be responsible for managing operational accounting and reporting systems, financial reporting, general ledger analysis, job costing, forecasting, year-end audit preparation. You will also be managing the accounting staff of ten senior accountants. The ideal candidate will be very detailed orientated, analytical, have previous supervisory experience with in an accounting department, have strong accounting software knowledge and at least five years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (construction background a plus).
