Chief Accounting Officer

Description AlliedBarton Security Services is presently looking for a high caliber Chief Accounting Officer with proven leadership and technical accounting abilities to drive change. This senior position will report directly to the CFO.

Key challenges in this newly created role will include:

Leadership and technical direction of the corporate accounting, external reporting and revenue functions;
Generating and coordinating financial reporting for business units;
Working on special projects with the Finance, IT and Benefits Department as needed;
Perform key account analysis;
Key interface with the Audit Committee and responsible for leading the relationship with external auditors;
Provide technical accounting guidance to Executive Management, ensuring compliance with SEC Reporting, Sarbanes Oxley, US GAAP and other governmental regulations;
Researching and implementing new accounting pronouncements and making changes to accounting polices and procedures as needed; and
Partner with CFO and CEO on business issues.


Qualifications

Ideal candidates for this high profile role will be Qualified CPA?s with a minimum of seven (7) years in a Public Accounting experience together with a progressive career within a Corporate finance function. You must obtain strong technical accounting skills in addition to proven leadership, influencing abilities and one that takes the initiative. Given the nature of this role you must be able to think outside the box, demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills, work as a team player and show the ability to work proactively within a flexible and change focused business. Experience in a service industry is preferred but not required.
