Chief Accounting Officer - SEC/ Growth Company

Our client is a recognized, successful growing firm in Cambridge. This person will provide financial expertise and consultation on business issues while overseeing the daily operational financial activities, including SEC reporting. This person will be a major contributor for the execution of the organizations financial plan. This person will manage the daily operational activities of the accounting department and quarterly external reporting; establish policies, procedures and controls for the company; and lead preparation of budgets and forecasts. This person will prepare reports required by regulatory agencies, advise management on desirable operational adjustments, and be responsible for Treasury and cash management. This person will oversee risk management function, ensure systems keep up with growth of company, and be responsible for the coordination of companys external audit and tax function.

This role requires SEC reporting expertise. The successful candidate can be from any industry even though this is a biotech firm.
