Chief Actuary

Prominent company in central Austin is currently seeking a managment professional with a minimum of 10 years experience as an Actuary, with 5 in the insurance industry. A bachelors degree in either statistics, fianance, economics, or accounting.
Ideal candidate will possess the ability to analyze statistical data construct probability tables to forecast risk. Candidate must also be able to read, analyze and interpret high-level statistical and financial related regulations and procedures to determine mortality, accidents, sickness, disability and retirement rates.
Job duties will also consist of developing initiatives through mentoring and training, delegating responsibilities to subordinates, and daily managment of department.
