Cirector - Finance

The Philadelphia Housing Authority, America's fourth largest public housing authority and leader in real estate development and property management, seeks a leader in a Director of Finance to direct our Finance Department and oversee Accounting functions such as: AP, AR, GL, Treasury including Pension Fund and General Accounting; directs the processing and analysis of accurate and timely financial reports; ensures organizational input and coordinates strategic planning initiatives. 

 

Philadelphia residency will be required. Requirements include a bachelor?s degree with major course work in Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial Management, Financial Management or a closely related field, CPA is preferred, and 10 years of senior level experience in the management of a financial department, 6 years of experience in a complex accounting environment; Experience with public accounting, enterprise funds, and ERP systems such as Peoplesoft, Oracle or SAP is preferred.
