Claims Administration Supervisor

We are a publicly traded manufacturing company located in Somerset County and we are seeking a fulltime Claims Administration Supervisor.

The overall responsibilities of this position include: management of the claims administration department including customer claims (debit memos) received and requests for customer invoice credits; evaluate and research customer claims to determine acceptance and/or rejection within one month of receipt; issue customer credits against customer accounts receivable based on corporate policy and guidelines and approved customer programs.

Specific responsibilities include: supervise daily activities of claims administration department; develop recording, tracking/monitoring and analysis system/process for customer claims (debit memos) ? this includes date received, customer, reason code, unit count, product, dollar amount, credit memo number and reason accepted/rejected; develop criteria for customer claim acceptance or rejection; develop process for collecting supporting documentation to determine claim validity; determine customer claim outcome within one month of receipt; process approved customer credits against customer accounts receivable in accordance with company policy, ensure that all supporting documentation and appropriate approvals are obtained; report on status of customer claims individually and in the aggregate, including value-added analysis of reason code so that management can take corrective action; maintain closed-claim files by customer in a current and organized manner.

The qualified candidate must possess:

-???????? 5-7 years collections experience

-???????? 2 or more years accounting experience

-???????? Excellent communication, organization, paperwork tracking and research skills

Our work hours are; Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
