Client Migration Manager- PMP preferred
As a project manager on our Implementation Services Team you will be responsible for leading all aspects of New Client transitions onto our Managed Accounts Solutions Platform. This position will have heavy client and vendor contact in addition to working with our Operations and Technology teams to on-board and service new clients.
The core responsibilities of this position include: producing an implementation plan which is based on our proprietary Project Management Plan; providing detailed estimates of conversion costs; scheduling on Microsoft Project the baseline document from which the project's performance will be measured. The candidate will also be responsible managing client expectations so solid influencing skills are essential. Management information reporting for project progress to clients and internal management are a must.
The candidate will work with the management team to define roles, responsibilities and milestones; monitoring and controlling the implementation project, maintaining the implementation plan and other reporting documentation; leading/participating in progress review meetings at the operational and project level, providing continuous feedback on project status; offering constructive options to ensure project tracks to original expectations; defining, and controlling project scope, identifying resources and/or scheduling conflicts; functioning as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of overall project impact, facilitating management decisions at the earliest possible time; coordinating custom programming requirements, to include core application enhancements/modifications, data extracts, straight through processing and interfaces. This is accomplished through development of requirements documents and client validation of appropriate acceptance testing; coordinating data conversion, data mapping tables and balancing functions necessary to convert active accounts from the current processing environment; coordinating training resources/programs to ensure qualified client operators for system implementation activities; supporting business units in the development and execution of acceptance test plans for a successful implementation; managing after conversion support functions for approximately 60 days post conversion to ensure smooth transition and customer satisfaction.
Experience in leading several complex systems conversion projects;
Expertise in project management discipline and techniques specifically managing the triple constraints of time, cost and scope;
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels;
Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work;
Strong verbal and written skills;
Strong team building skills;
Intermediate to advanced knowledge level of Microsoft Project
