Client Service Representative - Cedar Rapids

RSM McGladrey, one of the nation's leading business consulting and tax firms, has an exciting opportunity for a Level III Client Service Representative in our Cedar Rapids office. This position is responsible for providing both client service and administrative services necessary to support the success of the General Services department.

Responsibilities include:

? Performing various accounting/tax/consulting services for assigned clients using independent judgment and technical knowledge beyond that of administrative support.
? Assisting with preparing monthly client financial statements;
? Reviewing moderate to complex tax computations and related tax sections;
? Maintaining depreciation schedules;
? Preparation of individual and business tax returns, as well as communicating with taxpayers when significant issues arise in return preparation;
? Preparing other returns including payroll, sales tax, property tax and business licenses, etc.
? Mentoring and providing coaching and feedback to other Client Service Representatives

Position Requirements:

? 5-8 years related experience (public accounting firm preferred)
? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance
? Experience with preparation of individual and corporate tax returns
? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Great Plains Dynamics, Tvalue, BNA depreciation software, Go Systems Tax and other software programs
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
