We currently have a career opportunity for a Database Analyst in our International Tax practice in the San Jose location.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting international tax professionals in the administration and coordination of international tax engagements. Involves Data analysis related to Earnings and Profit studies along with Extra Territorial Income projects. Track and maintain information from E&Y's clients and various sources. Coordinate the sharing of information with an administrator for data tracking, scheduling, and billing. Prepare other forms and communications. Draft responses to taxing authority notices. Assume other administrative duties, as required.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must have:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance or a related field
* 1 year of experience in a financial, legal or business area
* Basic understanding of financial concepts such as income statements and balance sheets
* Microsoft Access experience is required
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Proficiency in MS Windows and Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes
