Collections Agent

We are currently seeking an individual to handle the collections for our growing receivables department. 

 

We are in the manufacturing and service industry and do a great deal of work for  general contractors.  Therefore, interested applicants must have a strong background in collecting from general contractors and a knowledge of the AIA payment requisition process.

 

The position also requires a minimum of five years experience in the aforementioned field.  Candidates should have excellent communication skills and firm but professional collection tactics. Duties include making daily calls from a receivables aging list, sending letters to past due and delinquent customers, filing contractor's liens, preparing files for small claims court, and verifying and executing lien waivers for payment.
