Our client, a Workers Compensation Insurance Company is looking to hire two Managers both paying 85K+

Collections Manager

*  Manage audit receivables of $50-60 million per year; including: tracking, monitoring/aging and reconciling

*  Manage Collections staff of six

*  Assign staff collectors and balance workloads, etc.

*  Analyze collection results and provide management information reporting

*  Maintain knowledge of state, federal and Insurance Department regulations pertaining to compliance with collection procedures

*  Make collection calls and resolve disputes

*  Analyze diverse information from a variety of operating systems

*  Communicate with agents, brokers and insureds regarding collections issues; excellent written and verbal communication is required

*  Design and maintain effective workflows and operating procedures

*  Interact daily with the Premium Audit group (responsible for invoicing)

*  Assess credit worthiness and establish appropriate payment plans

*  Ensure promissory notes and other guarantees are adequate and documented

*  Manage balances forwarded to third party Direct Collection agencies

*  Interact with third party collectors and monitor the Direct Collections process

*  Recommend decisions to pursue litigation against delinquent accounts

*  Communicate collections results to Underwriting, Marketing and Actuarial

*  Assist senior management with special projects as assigned 

*  At least 10 years of accounting and/or collections experience

*  Experience with Lawson software a plus

*7 plus years of supervisory and management experience; proven people management skills/team building

*  Reporting directly to CFO

*  BS degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four university

 

Accounts Receivable Manager

*  Manage accounts receivable and cash application of $375 million per year; including monitoring, booking and reconciliation

*  Manage the accounts receivable staff of seven

*  Balance staff assignments to control lockbox, electronic, direct receipt and related payments to the company

*  Maintain knowledge of Insurance Department regulations pertaining to timely receipt of payments, cancellations and account reinstatements

 * Oversee the accuracy of customer invoicing for 20,000 accounts

*  Communicate with agents, brokers and insureds regarding invoicing; excellent written and verbal communication is required

*  Resolve disputes and respond to customer inquiries

*  Design and maintain effective workflows and operating procedures

*  Interact daily with the Collections Department regarding payment issues and discrepancies; monitor accounts receivable aging

*  Analyze accounts receivable results and monitor cash, tax and fee receipts

*  Communicate accounts receivable results to Operations, Underwriting and Marketing

*  Assist senior management with special projects as assigned

*  At least 10 years of accounting and/or accounts receivable experience

*  Experience with Lawson software a plus

*  Reporting directly to CFO

*  BS degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four university
